Chronic Inflammation In Your Body – Learn How To Avoid It

Everybody who is in the journey to stay fit and healthy has heard from some source or another about the importance of eating right.

Experts after experts have even narrowed it down and discouraged the eating of foods that are loaded with sugar, harmful preservatives and saturated fats because they can cause chronic inflammation in our bodies and set you up for other conditions like diabetes, arthritis, heart disease and obesity.

What Is Inflammation?

Believe it or not, inflammation is a natural immune response from our bodies.

The immune system uses several tools to fight off viruses, bacteria and other foreign invaders that enter our bodies to do harm.

One tool is the Innate immunity. The Innate immunity is the immune system that you inherit and it’s active as soon as you’re born. The main feature of the innate immune system is to respond quickly, by causing inflammation in certain parts of your body and of course by raising your body temperature, also known as a fever.

When you are sick or injured your body activates your immune system which sends out inflammatory cells to protect your body. These cells attack viruses and bacteria and helps starts the healing process.

However, when your immune system is activated even thought you are not sick or injured is when you can experience chronic inflammation in your body.

Chronic inflammation overtime can damage healthy cells, tissues, organs and can lead to serious medical conditions like diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis and heart disease.

What can cause your body to activate your immune system even thought you are not sick or injured? Harmful ingredients in the foods we eat can activate your immune system and cause chronic inflammation.

Ingredients That Can Cause Inflammation In Your Body

Huge amount of sugars, preservatives, harmful chemicals and saturated fats over time can cause your immune system to go hay wire and cause chronic inflammation.

Below is a list of some of these harmful ingredients:

*sugar
*trans fats
*saturated fats
*omega 6 fatty acids
*MSG
*Gluten

The way some people normally react to some of these conditions is to go to the doctor who will most likely prescribe you certain medications to relief those conditions.

But the truth is that if you don’t change your eating habits and avoid foods that are high in sugar, contain preservatives and fatty acids that can cause chronic inflammation, the relief from these conditions will only be temporary.
