Do you want to get into shape for your Wedding?


wedding FitnessFor those soon to be brides out there, who want to look good on that special day, here are some helpful tips:

  • What do you want to focus on? Do you want to focus on the parts that will be showing (arms, back & shoulders)? Do you need to lose weight or do you want overall body shaping?
  • How much time do you have to accomplish your goal? Are you getting married in 6 weeks or do you have a whole year to work on your goals?

Once you’ve answered these questions, take action right away.

If you’ve decided to hire a trainer, start by doing some research. Go online or ask people if they know of a good trainer. When you find a trainer, make sure the trainer has experience and understands your goals.

Prices might range from $50 to $125/ per session, or the trainers might already have set packages for brides. Sessions can run from 45 minutes to 90 minutes. Some trainers will come to your house, so you don’t have to drive anywhere.

Another suggestion for you might be to hire a trainer partially, which means you can pay for 1-3 sessions or how many sessions you can afford and ask them to make a plan for you, which you will follow on your own. Some trainers might even give you a free consultation or trial session.

If you decide to do it on your own, I suggest you either join a gym and take supervised group classes or buy some Fitness DVD’s, which you can do in the comfort of your home.

Give yourself enough time to achieve your goals, so that you don’t get frustrated by not accomplishing your results. Some women can get in shape faster than others, but as a general rule, 3-6 months is plenty of time to transform your body for that special day.
